Veggie Gills has spent the past two years developing and perfecting a micro aquaponics system for anyone to garden and raise fish in the comfort of their own home. Through rigorous testing and troubleshooting, we have achieved a flawless product comprised of only the highest quality parts. Customer satisfaction is our primary concern. It is what drives our company. The Veggie Gills system is designed for minimal maintenance; ensuring hassle-free, enjoyable ownership. We started with just a dream and a great idea, and a couple of really smart guys who wanted to change the way their family ate. They were not satisfied with the horrible foods sold at the big chain grocery stores. They did not have an organic store to buy their food from, so they soon realized that if they wanted fresh, affordable food, they would need to find a way to farm it themselves. They soon found that traditional farming methods were just not an option, for several reasons. They didn’t own any land, and didn’t wish to add to the water shortage problems in the area. So they decided to think outside the box, and came across the idea of aquaponics. This was the answer to all of their problems. Aquaponics uses 90% less water than traditional farming methods. It grows fish in a symbiotic environment together with plants. It is the true definition of organic farming- producing the highest quality food nature has to offer with minimal effort. They worked tirelessly to develop the perfect system with impressive output. It’s easy to use, but make no mistake…It will revolutionize the way the world views food and farming. Veggie Gills Grow Systems is currently striving to meet customer demand. We have grown leaps and bounds very quickly and look forward to being a household name in the near future. Veggie Gills has a filtration system that keeps everything completely balanced, ensuring an easy and efficient growing process. Very minimal maintenance is required for the filtration system, which is able to handle up to 2500 gallons of water. Our system takes up very little space and can be placed indoors or outdoors. We also offer additional add-ons, such as a grow trellis that bolts on to the system, and a greenhouse for easy enclosure. You can place our system anywhere: in your basement, garage, laundry room, yard, porch, or even on the rooftop. We welcome all customer feedback to keep improving our products, customer service and consumer education.
Vision
In the future, we would like to see a buyback program implemented into our sales. We want to be able to sell a tank to a customer, show them how to farm using our system, then allow them to upgrade and build a bigger system when they’re ready. We would buy back the original tank and put that credit towards a bigger Veggie Gills Grow System. We want to work together with cities and communities looking to grow and eat their own healthy fish and vegetables, and build community-sized Veggie Gills Grow Systems to supply and feed the entire community with fresh fish and vegetables daily. We want to change the way America grows and consumes food. We envision a world free of genetically-altered plants and mercury-filled fish, where unregulated fish farms and harmful fishing practices will be a thing of the past. We want every person and community to be able to sustain themselves on their own, with no need to buy vegetables or fish from the grocery stores and corporations. Aquaponics is nothing new to the world, but it is new to the United States. We want to educate people and change the way traditional farmers view farming- because we know the limitless potential of aquaponics, and it all starts with our Veggie Gills Growing System.
